Highly recommend this stay!
My wife, daughter and I were looking for a great place to stay on our way to pick up our son at U.P. Bible Camp in Little Lake, Michigan and found this gem just a hop and a skip from the sleepy town of Gladstone. We were able to rent the cottage, which is quaint two-story loft that was just right. The service is what truly made the stay. B&B owners, Robert and Mehgan, exemplified hospitality! Robert welcomed us and provided the rich history about the place and Mehgan made us feel right at home, delivering chocolate mousse pie to our door and a breakfast for the ages, that included fresh fruit, AWESOME cinnamon rolls and Finish pancakes (very unique) served with natural Hazelnut syrup! Coffee to boot and we were ready to continue you on our journey. We will most certainly return as our daughter had tears in her eyes as she said goodbye to the little cottage we stayed in and the wonderful owners who made the stay special. At $155/night with breakfast included, it was tough to beat! Be sure to drive into downtown Gladstone (less than 2 miles) to take a dip in Bay De Noc, the Walleye Fishing Capital of the World!. Within 3 blocks of the Bay in the heart of downtown Gladstone, is Main Street Pizza which also serves up some very tasty Italian Gelato!
Great food and service. The people that work at the Kipling House Bed & Breakfast were very nice and polite. The food was top of the line and weirdly they have great water. I will go again with some friends. One of my good friends live near the Kipling House Bed & Breakfast so we go there quite a bit. Love it! :)
