Great 8.1 mile trail. I was able to complete a loop in 47 minutes. Some of the down hills were 25 mph. In other words, a lot of fun.
I absolutely love this trail system, you can choose any distance you want to run with the different distances of loops available. Great scenery and the trails are relatively empty. You do get the occasional dog off the leash that you run into, but if they are well behaved it's not a big deal (but everyone has seen the dog that goes barking and running at people and other dogs while the owner is yelling at it)
These trail were clearly marked. We hiked during a snowstorm and had no problem following the routes. It was beautiful, but a more strenuous hike with snow hiding the ground. The trails are loops and give you options less than a couple miles to 9 miles. Wonderful for hiking. Running and biking would be difficult sure to uneven ground. Parking permits are available at the trailhead lot for $9/day.
