This company is HORRIFIC! Having them as a home owner in Harvey is awful! I would rather pay higher rates with BLP ANY day, than be stuck with Alger Delta! They are the WORST! SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't use water, can't eat your spoiled food. They operate at a dead snails pace. AWFUL!
If you’re a potential home buyer in an Alger Delta service area be sure the home has a generator powerful enough to run your house for at least 12 hours or a few days. The power goes out a LOT and it takes hours for it to come back on. We spent $10,000 on a generator to run our place because we got tired of throwing out all the food from our fridge/freezer and freezing with no heat. Oh yeah. We have a well so no running water or flushing toilets when they’re taking their sweet time getting the juice turned back on. In second thought, skip buying that house in the Alger Delta service area if you can. They suck ass!
For new service, you must fill out paperwork online and then pay a flat $250 fee- just for an estimate! Other places come out for free to tell you what it costs (as they should), and I've had it done already. This place is a ripoff, no one should charge their potential customers for an estimate. You pay your men to find out what it will cost, don't put that on us!
The power goes out here a lot in Harvey sometimes it takes hours to come back on, there was a time when it took them over 10 hrs before the power was restored, I have not been happy with Alger Delta they suck and wish I had another option for a power company!!
Worst company I've had in the state of Michigan. Highest service rate in the UP! It's a joke. Still currently without power after this wind storm we had. Very slow at what they do. A very disappointing company! Smh....
