For the price you are paying compared to what you are getting i would pass on this place. Yea... it is in gladstone, but if just go to Escanaba you have many more options that allow, pets and have smoking and non-smoking and manegment more helpfull.
If have to do it over agian i would skip this place like the plague. Please do your self a favore and skip this place tell there manegment is replaced at least. With there heavy smokers and sevral loud neighbors and manegments lack to do anything to come top compliance with the new law... LakeView Apartments is something to AVOID.
I am stuck in an upstairs unit with the lower neighbor smoking up a storm. I have reported this to the managment, but they don't care. They are not even up to compliance to the new smoking law that went into law in May. Manegment is never around and is very hard to contact.
The manager is very mean, on an ego power trip. She is rude to tenants and guests, talks to them like children. Doesn't make timely and adequate repairs, had to fix several things in my friend's apartment after management had been called more than once. Manager has no common human concern, courtesy, or manners, no remorse for doing the right thing, refused to try to offer any help or empathy for person stranded with their vehichle from extreme cold temperatures, even the area schools were closed from the cold.
